Cellar

Wirra Wirra The Angelus Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep ruby. Fragrant red and black currants and plums with briary and leaf characters, along with cedar and a hint of choc-mint. Perfectly ripened cassis frames a structure of powdery tannins and fine-grained French oak. The depth of red fruit richness gives luxurious concentration while retaining great clarity and expression. Remains poised and elegant throughout.
$144

Collector Reserve Shiraz

The 2015 Reserve is beautifully ripe and combines the intensity and vibrancy of the vintage with the spice, perfume and elegant structure that these vineyards consistently give. Showing plenty of youthful charm now, this wine will be at its best at between five to thirty years of age.
$104

Langmeil Jackaman’s Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep crimson with purple hues. Lifted blackcurrant and blueberry aromas entwine with biscuity French oak, hints of liquorice and more savoury, black olive notes. Bright, juicy, and rich blue fruits flow onto the plate which is medium to full-bodied. Briary spice, black olive and cedary hints add to the mix with a touch of new oak sweetness and silky tannins to add complexity to the fruity and velvety finish.

Brokenwood Wade Block 2 Shiraz

Typical McLaren Vale flavours of abundant black fruit, dark chocolate, and Turkish Delight. Perfect McLaren Vale Shiraz colour with deep purple hues and mouth coating tannins. The oak regime is all French, with approximately 28% being in new puncheons which adds a vanillin note to the finish. A full-bodied wine with layers of flavour.
$144

Barringwood Mill Block Pinot Noir

Barringwood vineyard is located on a steep north facing slope overlooking the Don Valley in Tasmania’s central North. Established in 1993 the vineyard rises to an elevation of 280m and has one of the longest growing seasons in Tasmania giving their wines delicacy, elegance and immense complexity as well as a distinct backbone of cool climate acidity. Their success in producing outstanding wines on a climatically marginal site is dependent on supreme diligence and attention to detail in the vineyard.
$89

Hay Shed Hill Block 2 Cabernet Sauvignon

Dense dark red to black colour of great intensity. This Hay Shed Hill Block 2 Cabernet Sauvignon has a dense blood red with a dark centre. The wine displays ripe berry aromas of great intensity with underlying dusty and earthy characters typical of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon. There is depth to the nose indicating there are reserves of complex aromas yet to develop and be exhibited in this wine. The palate is substantial – this is big wine by Western Australian standards with intense and fully ripe, fleshy sweet fruit filling the mid palate with great palate extension driven by the ripe and mature tannin.
